The short version

Your files never leave your device. ExactKB's compression runs entirely inside your web browser — there is no upload, no server-side processing, and no account. We cannot see, store, or access any image or document you process, because it is never transmitted to us.

Files you process

All image and PDF processing happens locally in your browser using standard web technologies (Canvas, WebAssembly-free JavaScript libraries served from this site). Once this page has loaded, the tool works even with your internet connection turned off. Processed files exist only in your browser's memory and are discarded when you close the tab.

Data we collect

ExactKB does not require an account and does not collect personal information. This site is hosted on GitHub Pages; GitHub may log standard technical request data (such as IP address and user agent) to serve the site, as described in GitHub's privacy statement. We do not have access to analytics that identify you.

Cookies and advertising

ExactKB does not currently set cookies. If advertising is introduced in the future, ad providers may use cookies or similar technologies subject to your consent where required by law (such as the GDPR in the EU/UK), and this policy will be updated before that happens.

Third-party links

Pages on this site link to official government and portal websites for verifying document requirements. Those sites have their own privacy policies; we are not responsible for their practices.

Not affiliated

ExactKB is an independent tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any government agency, examination board, immigration authority, or portal mentioned on this site. Names of portals and agencies are used only to describe which upload requirements a preset targets.
